Request Action:

Appoint one member to the Advisory Council of the Habitat Safe Neighborhood Improvement District for a two year term. 

 

Need:

There is one seat on the Advisory Council that is vacate or up for reappointment.  Dorothy Thomas McCall has expressed an interest in serving on the Council.

 

Summary Explanation/ Background:

The Habitat Safe Neighborhood Improvement District Board of Directors needs to fill a vacancy on the Advisory Council for the District for a two (2) year term.  Each member of the Council must be owners of real property located in the district area, or be residents of the district area.  All members shall be subject to the rules and procedures for boards and committees set out in the city code, chapter 2, article I.  Members of the council are permitted to serve on other city boards and/or committees.
