Requested Action:

A resolution to approve changes to the Lauderhill Land Development Regulations - Schedule L - Engineering Standards and Procedures and Forms.   The Engineering Standards Manual includes all the proposed revisions to Schedule L as well as all the applicable forms.

 

Need:

The Engineering Standards and Procedures present in our code were last updated in 1997. Between that time and now, there have been many changes to technologies, materials, and procedures used as it relates to infrastructure improvement.

 

Summary Explanation/ Background:

 

The Engineering Division has been working hand in hand with Langan Engineering to review our engineering standards and procedures as it existed to remove obsolete sections and to update all sections necessary to reflect current standard practices and best management practices.
