RESOLUTION NO. 17R-02-55: A RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COMMISSION AS A WHOLE APPOINTING PAUL R. SHELTON TO SERVE AS A MEMBER OF THE GENERAL EMPLOYEE PENSION BOARD FOR A TWO (2) YEAR TERM TO EXPIRE FEBRUARY 2019; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE (REQUESTED BY CITY MANAGER, CHARLES FARANDA).

Request Action:
Adopt a Resolution appointing a member to the General Employee Pension Board by the City Commission as a whole for a two year term expiring February 2019.
Need:
Fill expired position on the General Employee Pension Board.
Summary Explanation/ Background:
Paul Shelton has served on the General Employee Pension Board since 2004 and has expressed interest in continuing to serve as the Commission appointment. Mr. Shelton has submitted a Board Re-appointment form. The City has received no other resumes of interest at this time.
