RESOLUTION NO. 26R-01-27: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LAUDERHILL APPOINTING MARY SMITH BY COMMISSIONER MELISSA P. DUNN TO SERVE AS A MEMBER OF THE PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD FOR THE VACANT UNEXPIRED FOUR (4) YEAR TERM TO EXPIRE NOVEMBER 2028 OR CONCURRENT WITH THE COMMISSIONER SEAT, WHICHEVER OCCURS FIRST; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

This Resolution is requested to approve the appointment to the P&Z, as selected by individual Commissioners to fill the vacant and/or expired seats.
Need Summary Explanation/ Background:
Commissioner Dunn's appointment to the Planning & Zoning Board is currently vacant. She has selected Dr. Mary Smith to be appointed for the remainder of an unexpired term that lasts four (4) years, to expire November 2028 or concurrent with the Commissioner seat, whichever shall occur first.
Cost Summary/ Fiscal Impact:
All board members receive a $50.00 stipend, per meeting attended.
