Approval of a resolution authorizing the City of Lauderhill (“City”) to U.S General Services Administration, The Transportation and Logistics Services Multiple Award Schedule, Contract Number 47QMCA20D0042 with Weedoo Greenboat, Inc, for purchase of a TC-3012 work boat weed harvester and associated accessories for the City of Lauderhill Public Works department and authorizing payment in an amount not to exceed $116,932.00.
Need Summary Explanation/ Background:
Pursuant to Section 2-144 of the City's Code, the City may waive its requirements on competitive bidding and join in on cooperative purchasing plans when in the best interest of the City.
The City of Lauderhill Public Works department has identified the need to acquire a work boat weed harvester.
Piggybacking this competitively awarded U.S General Services Administration, The Transportation and Logistics Services Multiple Award Schedule contract, will allow the City to procure the harvester in a timely and cost-effective manner while maintaining compliance with the City's Procurement Code.
