Need Summary Explanation/ Background:
To approve the Notice to Proceed with the Unsolicited Proposal - the Hill. On or about September 25, 2023, the City of Lauderhill received an unsolicited proposal pursuant to Section 255.065, Florida Statutes, from the Hill District, LLC., to develop, construct, operate and maintain a Gateway Destination Complex and related uses on the Property more commonly known as the Former K-Mart site.
