RESOLUTION NO. 26R-03-57: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LAUDERHILL, FLORIDA, ACCEPTING THE DONATION OF FITNESS EQUIPMENT FROM INVERARRY CLUB APARTMENTS, MANAGED BY UNITED PROPERTY MANAGEMENT, INC., FOR USE BY THE CITY AT ANY OF ITS RECREATION CENTERS OR EMPLOYEE GYMNASIUMS; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER AND CITY ATTORNEY TO EXECUTE ANY NECESSARY DOCUMENTATION RELATED TO THE ACCEPTANCE OF SAID EQUIPMENT; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. To accept a donation of gymnasium equipment from Inverarry Club Apartments, managed by United Property Management, Inc.
Need Summary Explanation/ Background:
The apartment complex no longer needs certain gym equipment including 4 to 5 treadmills, 1 to 2 StairMasters, a stationary bicycle and possibly other pieces of interest. The management company is willng to deliver and install the equipment wherever the city wants at no cost to the City after it has been fully tested and calibrated.
