Request Action:
A resolution is requested from the City Commission to approve the bid results from RLI 2021-015 Minority Serving Institutions for the only respondent Nova Southeastern University.
Need:
The grant application for US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) required a partnership with a Minority Serving Institution as defined by the US Department of Education as listed on their website.
Summary Explanation/ Background:
US Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health (OASH) announced the availability of funds under the authority of 42 USC 300u-6 (Section 1707 of the Public Health Service Act) and the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2021 (P.L. 116-260).
