RESOLUTION NO. 26R-07-130: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LAUDERHILL, FLORIDA RELATING TO THE PROVISION OF STORMWATER SERVICES TO THOSE AREAS MORE COMMONLY KNOWN AS ST. Request Action:
The City Commission is requested to adopt the Preliminary Assessment Rate Resolution for Fiscal Year 2027, authorizing the City to continue using the uniform method of collection for non-ad valorem special assessments on the annual property tax bill for stormwater services provided to the designated service areas commonly known as St. George, West Ken Lark, Broward Estates, and the Swap Shop. Adoption of the resolution is necessary to establish the estimated FY 2027 rate, direct preparation of the assessment roll, authorize the required public hearing and notices, and allow the assessments to be collected on the tax bill for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2026 and ending September 30, 2027.
