Amend the City Code Section 8-10 regarding the Code of Ethics applicable to candidates and to currently sitting elected officials.
Need:
To amend the city code regarding the Code of Ethics.
Summary Explanation/ Background:
Commissioner Melissa P. Dunn has requested an amendment to the City Code of Ordinances, Section 8-10, Code of Ethics to expressly prohibit currently sitting elected officials from using any city staff or city resources to promote themselves individually within ninety (90) days of an election.
