RESOLUTION NO. 26R-03-75: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LAUDERHILL, FLORIDA, NAMING THE FUTURE PUBLIC PARK TO BE DEVELOPED AT SITE LOCATED AT 4500 NW 21ST STREET THE “M. MARGARET BATES PARK” IN HONOR OF FORMER COMMISSIONER M. MARGARET BATES AND HER DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVICE AND LEADERSHIP, INCLUDING HER SUPPORT OF THE CITY’S ACQUISITION OF THE PROPERTY FOR USE AS A PUBLIC PARK; PROVIDING FOR THE PLACEMENT OF APPROPRIATE SIGNAGE AND A COMMEMORATIVE PLAQUE UPON COMPLETION OF PARK CONSTRUCTION; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE (REQUESTED BY VICE MAYOR RICHARD CAMPBELL).
