Request Action:
The City Commission is being requested to approve the disposal of damaged, inoperable and obsolete vehicles and equipment.
Need Summary Explanation/ Background:
These vehicles and equipment are damaged, inoperable, and obsolete, creating a need for their disposal. In accordance with City Code of Ordinance Section 2-143, Commission approval is required for staff to implement the most effective and advantageous methods of disposal.
Given the equipment’s obsolescence, it is in the City’s best interest to dispose of it through various methods, including but not limited to junking, selling, or salvaging parts and components.
