Amend Chapter 2, Administration, Article II, Officers and Employees, Division 3, Retirement, Part 2, General Employees Pension Fund, Section 2-70, Administration to increase the number of years that a pension trustee serves.
Need Summary Explanation/ Background:
The Lauderhill General Employee's Pension Board is requesting the City Commission consider extending the trustee terms from two to four years. The Board feels that extending trustee terms would help keep institutional knowledge on the Board.
