SMITH & ASSOCIATES; AUTHORIZING MOSS KELLEY, INC./ MKI SERVICES, INC. Acceptance of the Construction Observation Report prepared by Craig A. Smith regarding the Lauderhill Water Treatment Plant rehabilitation and corrective work. In addition, request approval of the Commission for the Additional repair and corrective work identified during construction observation resulted in necessary improvements totaling a not to exceed amount of $192,785.40 to Moss Kelley, Inc.

The City of Lauderhill, in coordination with Moss Kelley, Inc. and Craig .A. Smith, has undertaken an extensive effort to identify and address operational deficiencies at the Lauderhill Water Treatment Plant. Many of the deficiencies identified are attributed to the age and long-term operational demands of the facility.
Craig .A. Smith has undertaken an extensive effort to identify and address operational deficiencies at the Lauderhill Water Treatment Plant. Many of the deficiencies identified are attributed to the age and long-term operational demands of the facility.
The City, Craig A.Smith, and Moss Kelley, Inc. have worked collaboratively to evaluate and prioritize repairs using an economically responsible approach designed to maintain plant operations and extend the useful life of the existing infrastructure.
