Approve a District tax levy for the Windermere/ Tree Gardens Safe Neighborhood District in the amount of $0 and 2 mils and the resulting budget for fiscal year 2027.
Need Summary Explanation/ Background:
The Safe Neighborhood Districts were created to provide a more secure community for our residents. The Windermere/ Tree Gardens Safe Neighborhood District was created in 2011 by the City. Residents in this community voted, by referendum, to create the district and levy taxes to collect funds to make their neighborhoods safer.
Cost Summary/ Fiscal Impact:
The assessment will be collected by the district in the approximate amount of $169,277.00.
