Request Action:
Request to approve the piggybacking on the Florida Sheriff Contract Vendor bid #FSA22-VEL30.0 for the purchase of seven (7) vehicles to be used by the Police Department from BOZARD FORD or any other Florida Sheriff’s Contract vendor not to exceed $380,625.00.
Need:
This action will allow the city to replace vehicles that have been in service in the city’s fleet for several years and have exceeded their useful life. The addition of new units to the fleet will aid staff in providing the efficient and effective service expected by the residents of the City of Lauderhill.
Summary Explanation/ Background:
The Florida Sheriff’s Association through its various member departments have procured vehicles and equipment at advantageous pricing. The pricing has been extended to all cities, counties, and municipalities in the State of Florida.
