To approve the Second Amendment to the Employment Agreement for the City Clerk.
Need:
To approve the Second Amendment to the City Clerk's Employment Agreement.
Summary Explanation/ Background:
The Interim City Manager and Deputy City Manager recently had their Employment Agreements approved. It was realized that the City Clerk's Employment Agreement still contains old provisions which are no longer valid under State Law regarding the amount of pay and benefits permitted upon severance or termination of an employee. This Second Amendment makes the contract terms consistent with current law and updates other provisions consistent with other Department Heads.
