Request Action:
The City Commission is being requested to approve RFP 2023-018 HABITAT BUILDING RENOVATIONS award to PROPERTY SERVICE WARRANTY. as previously approved by the HABITAT Safe Neighborhood district advisory board to RENOVATE HABITAT ii COMMUNITY POOL HOUSE RENOVATIONS not to exceed $367,500.00.
Need:
THE HABITAT II COMMUNITY SCOPE OF WORK FOR THIS PROJECT IS TO RENOVATE THE EXISTING POOL HOUSE BUILDING TO PROVIDE ADA COMPLIANCE TO THE BUILDING AND WITHIN THE BUILDING, UPDATE THE INTERIOR FINISHES, NEW PLUMBING FIXTURES, NEW SAUNAS, AND MECHANICAL EXHAUST AND UPGRADE THE INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR LIGHTING.
Summary Explanation/ Background:
The HABITAT Safe Neighborhood District was created by the residents of the community to provide a more secure community. Resident in this community voted by referendum to create the district and levy taxes to collect funds to make their communities safer and more secure. As such, the community voted to improve their roadways that were in need of major repair.
