A RESOLUTION IS BEING REQUESTED TO APPROVE THE DISPOSAL OF EQUIPMENT THAT IS DAMAGED, INOPERABLE, AND OBSOLETE IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 2-143 OF CITY ORDINANCE.
Need:
APPROVAL IS REQUIRED FOR THE PURPOSE OF DISPOSING OF CITY SURPLUS IN ACCORDANCE TO CITY ORDINANCE SECTION 2-143 FOR INOPERABLE AND OBSOLETE EQUIPMENT GENERATING A NEED FOR DISPOSAL.
Summary Explanation/ Background:
STAFF PROVIDED A REQUEST TO DISPOSE OF A LIST OF EQUIPMENT THAT IS NO LONGER IN USE AND HAS BEEN DEEMED OBSOLETE, INOPERABLE AND DAMAGED. DISPOSAL OF THE OBSOLESCENT EQUIPMENT IS CONSIDERED THE MOST EFFECTIVE, ADVANTAGEOUS, CONVENIENT, AND ECONOMICAL FOR THE CITY.
