To approve a contract for the purchase of land
Summary Explanation/ Background:
The City of Lauderhill has negotiated the purchase of an additional approximate 6.35 acre parcel of land owned by the Lauderhill Marketplace referred to as Parcel 4 in the Amended and Restated Memorandum of Understanding that the parties have already entered into. Lauderhill Marketplace will retain approximately 1.87 acres referred to as Parcel 3 with the intent to develop a gas station and convenience store. The City of Lauderhill has already purchased am approximate 1.70 acre site referred to as Parcel 1. Lauderhill Marketplace will donate the approximate 4.00 acre site to the City of Lauderhill referred to as Parcel 2 at no cost to the City once all building permits have been issed for the gas station on Parcel 3.
