Request Action:
Pass an Ordinance approving the vacation and abandonment of a Portion of N.W. 46th Avenue, Forward Subdivision No. 1., according to the Plat thereof, as recorded in Plat Book 52, Page 40, subject to the condition that the City of Lauderhill is reserving unto itself a perpetual non-exclusive ingress/egress, utility, and stormwater infrastructure easement.

Need:
To vacate an unnecessary portion of a road/right-of-way

Summary Explanation/ Background:
A portion of N.W. 46th Aveune is a right-of-way easement that the City of Lauderhill has determined issurplus, unnecessary and not required for public purpose. Therefore, the City is willing to vacate and abandon a portion of the road, which by viture of law will then be deeded to the abutting owners on each side of the abandoned or vacated road out to the center line, subject to the City of Lauderhill reserving until itself a perpetual non-exclusive ingress/egress, utility and stormwater infrastructure easement upon the parcel and any other easements of record, over, under and across the property.
