To approve the maintenance and compensation agreement between the State of Florida Department of Transportation and the City of Lauderhill.

The Florida Department of Transportation is in the process of updating its State Highway Lighting Maintenance and Compensation Agreements. The updated agreement utilizes a standardized boilerplate format with limited permissible modifications, in order to promote uniformity in language and compensation terms across the state.

 

 

Cost Summary/ Fiscal Impact:

The agreement will take effect July 1, 2026 with an annual compensation amount to be negotiated by staff.
