Request Action:
Requesting for approval of the release of State Law Enforcement Trust Funds to donate to the Guardians Involved for Tomorrow, GIFT which is a non-profit 501c3 organization that assist with the development and guidance of youth in the community. The amount requested is $1,350.00 which not to exceed $1,500. The budget code for the State Law Enforcement Trust Funds is 120-683-9935.
Need:
We need these funds to donate to this not for profit organization called, Guardians Involved for Tomorrow, GIFT. This program is to help with the development and guidance of youth in the community. This program will target Lauderhill Youth to assist them with life skill developments. Therefore, we are requesting these funds to be approved and released so that we can give donations to this nonprofit 501c3 organization. We are also requesting that the Office of Management and Budget place the transfer of these funds on the same Commission Agenda as the requested items to eliminate any delays for processing donations.
Summary Explanation/ Background:
Funds are needed to help the agencies to continue to provide support for this program for the skill development of the Lauderhill youth. The amount should not exceed $1,500 and will come from account 120-683-9935
