Pass a Resolution to approve and accept the FY24 Agreement between the U.S. Department of Justice and the City of Lauderhill; Approving and accepting the FY24 Byrne Discretionary Community Project Grant Award authorizing reimbursement in an amount not to exceed $963,000.00 for costs associated with the City of Lauderhill’s Comprehensive Domestic Violence Approach program; Providing Terms and Conditions; Providing for an effective Date.

To approve the 2024 Byrne Discretionary Community Project Grant award.
This Resolution is to approve and accept the FY24 Agreement between the U.S. Department of Justice and the City of Lauderhill; which provides for the FY24 Byrne Discretionary Grant Award which authorizes reimbursement in an amount not to exceed $963,000.00 for costs associated with the City’s Comprehensive Domestic Violence Approach program that will be available to raise DV awareness in the community, prevent recurrence, investigate and prosecute DV cases and provide justice to victims of crimes. Approving retroactively any signatures that were required to meet the grant submittal deadlines. There is no match requirement.
