RESOLUTION NO. 26R-03-63: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LAUDERHILL, FLORIDA, DESIGNATING A DIRECTOR, AN ALTERNATE AND A SECOND ALTERNATE AS MUNICIPAL APPOINTMENTS TO THE BROWARD LEAGUE OF CITIES BOARD OF DIRECTORS FOR THE YEAR 2026-2027; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE (REQUESTED BY CITY MANAGER KENNIE HOBBS, JR.).

Request Action:
The Commission must designate a Director, Alternate, and Second Alternate for the Broward League of Cities Board of Directors for the 2026-2027 year.
Need Summary Explanation/ Background:
According to the Broward League of Cities By-Laws, each city shall appoint a Director, Alternate, and Second Alternate to attend and vote at any Board of Directors or General Membership meeting.
Designation of these board appointments is due no later than April 17, 2026.
For the 2025-2026 year, appointments were as follows:
Mayor Denise D. Grant - Director
Commissioner Richard Campbell - Alternate
Commissioner John T. Hodgson - Second Alternate
