RESOLUTION NO. 25R-12-238: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LAUDERHILL, FLORIDA, AWARDING RFP 2025-040 - DRUG AND ALCOHOL TESTING SERVICES TO DSI MEDICAL SERVICES, INC. Request Action:
To approve two qualified vendors in response to RFP 2025-040 - Drug and Alcohol Testing Services for use of laboratory services in testing City employees as needed.
Need Summary Explanation/ Background:
The Human Resources Department requires a reputable hospital or laboratory, certified by the State of Florida, to conduct urine and/or blood specimen testing using a computer-based program. These services are necessary for reasonable suspicion and post-accident testing of City employees.
The Purchasing Division issued RFP 2025-040 - Drug and Alcohol Testing Services to establish a list of qualified vendors. The City will utilize the approved vendors from this list on an as-needed basis.
