Request Action:
Pass a resolution approving the Agreement with Extra Duty Solutions to provide services related to police extra duty details.
Need:
To assist in the scheduling, provision and payment of extra duty details.
Summary Explanation/ Background:
Extra Duty Details will coordinate the scheduling and provision of police extra duty details requested by both outside third parties and from the City itself. Extra Duty Details will assist in processing the payroll to the police officers who work the extra duty details when hired by outside third-party customers. The City will process its own payroll when the City is the one requesting the police detail. Administrative fees are passed onto the third-party customers hiring the extra duty details only.
