Request Action:
Amend the City Code Section 2-159 to amend the Order of Business for Meetings to reflect the change in the order of Roll Call and the timing for Communications from Public Officials to be moved to the end of the meeting just prior to adjournment.
Need:
To amend code to reflect the actual order of business for meetings due to time changes.
Summary Explanation/ Background:
Since City Commission meetings are now approved to start at 6:00 p.m., the Order of Business needs to be amended to properly reflect that "Communications from Public Officials" will take place just prior to adjournment (instead of at 9:00 p.m.). The amendment will also reflect that the Roll Call will be taken once at the beginning of public communications.
