Approval of a resolution authorizing the City of Lauderhill (“City”) to enter into an agreement with National Metering Services, Inc., in an amount not to exceed $100,000.00, utilizing the City of Hollywood, Florida, Contract for Lead and Copper Rule Revisions (LCRR) Service Line Material Inventory.
Need Summary Explanation/ Background:
The City requires a qualified firm to provide hand-digging at various locations throughout the City in order to develop a materials inventory for service lines to comply with the EPA’s Lead and Copper Rule Revisions.
Pursuant to Section 2-144 of the City's Code, the City may waive its requirements on competitive bidding and join in on cooperative purchasing plans when in the best interest of the City.
The City of Hollywood, Florida, issued IFB-082-23-JJ/22-5145 “Lead and Copper Rule Revisions Service Line Material Inventory” to solicit the services of a qualified contractor to provide hand-digging at various locations throughout the City of Hollywood in order to develop a materials inventory for service lines to comply with the EPA’s Lead and Copper Rule Revisions.
