Request Action:

Pass an Ordinance to reflect the new garbage recycling rates that became effective by the contract provider effective on October 1, 2023.

Need:

To update the garbage recycling rates that are in effect.

Summary Explanation/ Background:

Waste Management, Inc. provides residential recycling services to the City of Lauderhill and has a contract running through September 30, 2024.  The service provider provides the rates they charge to the city for updating in the city code.  The attached are the rates that became effective October 1, 2023 so that they can be updated officially in the city code of ordinances.
