Request Action:
The Isles of Inverrary Safe Neighborhood District Advisory Council has approved a District tax levy in the amount of $500 and 2 mils. The Advisory Council requests the Isles of Inverrary Safe Neighborhood District Board approve this assessment and the resulting budget for fiscal year 2027.
Need Summary Explanation/ Background:
The community is recommending this levy to continue projects identified in the Isles of Inverrary Comprehensive Plan to improve the safety and security of the community. To reappoint members to Council.
The Safe Neighborhood Districts were created to provide a more secure community for our residents. The Isles of Inverrary Safe Neighborhood District was created in 2011 by the City. Residents in this community voted, by referendum, to create the district and levy taxes to collect funds to make their neighborhoods safer.
Cost Summary/ Fiscal Impact:
The assessment will be collected by the district in the approximate amount of $90,974.
