Need:
Within the light industiral (il) Zoning District a manufacturing, processing use is a special exception use requiring City Commission approval.
The applicant needs City Commission approval in order to operate the proposed use.

Summary Explanation/ Background:
THE propsed use is that of a manufacturing, processing faility to produce fiberglass rebar to be used in builidng and construction. THE SUBJECT SITE IS LOCATED WITH THE LIGHT INDUSTRIAL (IL) ZONING DISTRICT. THE PROPOSED LOCATION IS TWO BAYS WITHIN A MULTI-TENANT LIGHT INDUSTRIAL WAREHOUSE BUILDING. BORDERING THE SITE TO THE NORTH AND EAST IS A CANAL AND THEN A SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONING DISTRICT AT FIVE UNITS PER ACRE ANNEXD (RS-5A). bORDERING THE SITE TO THE SOUTH AND WEST ARE OTHER PARCELS WITHIN THE LIGHT INDUSTRIAL (IL) ZONING DISTRICT.
