Approve a Facility License Agreement between the City of Lauderhill and CYTT Inc., a Florida corporation, authorizing a non-exclusive, revocable license for the use of designated areas within the Windermere Community Center for arts-based, educational, and community programming, and authorize the City Manager to execute the Agreement.

Need Summary Explanation/ Background:

The proposed Facility License Agreement allows CYTT Inc. to utilize designated program and activity spaces at the Windermere Community Center to provide recreational, arts-based, educational, enrichment, and cultural programming serving youth, adults, and seniors. The Agreement preserves the City’s full scheduling priority and public access rights, does not convey any leasehold or property interest, and ensures the City retains operational control of the facility at all times.

The City of Lauderhill owns and operates community centers to support municipal, recreational, educational, and cultural activities that serve the public interest. CYTT Inc. has requested limited access to designated areas of the Windermere Community Center to conduct structured arts-based and educational programming consistent with the City’s mission to expand community enrichment opportunities.
