Pass a Resolution approving the First Amendment to the 2017 Edward Byrne Justice Assistance Local Solicitation (JAG) Grant award Memorandum of Understanding.
Need:
To approve the First Amendment to the 2017 JAG MOU.
Summary Explanation/ Background:
The City of Lauderhill previously passed Resolution No. 19R-02-33 approving the 2017 JAG Grant Award Memorandum of Understanding. The Department of Justice has since requested amendments to the previously approved MOU. Attached is the First Amendment to the 2017 JAG MOU which is is necessary to be approved and accepted prior to the City being able to receive the 2017 JAG Grant funding.
