Request Action:
Approve the transfer the title of the Wyngate Plaza land parcel and personal property from the City of Lauderhill to the Lauderhill Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA); approving the Warranty Deed and Bill of Sale for the transfer.
Need:
To transfer title of the Wyngate plaza property from the City of Lauderhill to the CRA.
Summary Explanation/ Background:
The City of Lauderhill and the CRA both entered into a Commercial Contract to purchase the Wyngate Plaza property located at 1249-1281 NW 31 Avenue. CRA funds were actually used to purchase the property but at the closing the property was titled in the City of Lauderhill's name. The attached Warranty Deed and Bill of Sale transfer the title of the real property and personal property from the City of Lauderhill to the CRA as the CRA will manage and control the property.
