A RESOLUTION IS REQUESTED FROM THE CITY COMMISSION TO WAIVE COMPETITIVE BIDDING REQUIREMENTS IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 2-144 OF THE CITY’S CODE OF ORDINANCE AND APPROVE THE PURCHASE OF THE FIRE ALARM ALERTING SYSTEM FROM KEYLITE POWER & LIGHTING CORP. PER BROWARD COUNTY’S RFP R1426611P1.

 

Need:

ACTION IS NEEDED TO ALLOW THE PURCHASE OF THIS FIRE ALERTING SYSTEM INCLUDING SOFTWARE FOR FS #57 AND FS #110.

 

Summary Explanation/ Background:

BROWARD COUNTY PLACED A SOLICITATION TO ESTABLISH A CONTRACTS FOR A FIRE ALERTING SERVICE INCLUDING SOFTWARE FOR PUBLIC SAFETY.
