Briefly state the action requested of the Commission.  What is the expected outcome of the action?

Approve a change order from Oracle Elevator Holdco.Inc. DBA Elevated Facility Services in the amount not to exceed $50,440.00 to bring the elevator mechanical machine room and fire alarm system up to code.

 

 

Need Summary Explanation/ Background:

Why is there a need for this action and provide summary/background?

The requested change order includes work that falls outside of the original scope of the elevator modernization project.  The additional work is necessary to bring the elevator mechanical machine room and fire alarm system into compliance with current building and safety codes.  These upgrades were not included in the contractors initial scope of work but are necessary to ensure the proper operation and regulatory approval of the modernized elevator system.  Approval of this change order will address these compliance requirements.
