Request Action:
Requesting for approval of the release and usage of State Law Enforcement Trust Funds for the purchase of a StairMaster 4G Stepmill machine. The funds will be used to purchase the StairMaster 4G Stepmill from Treadmill Outlet. The amount needed to purchase the Stairmaster Stepmill from Treadmill Outlet is $5,999.00. The amount requested is $5,999.00 which is not to exceed $6,100.00. The budget code for the State Law Enforcement Trust Funds is 12002683-509935.
Need:
Funds are needed to purchase a StairMaster 4G Stepmill machine for the gym that is utilized by all of our employees and the training unit. The training unit of the police department has identified this machine as the ideal option for developmental training for our department. Therefore, we are requesting these funds to be approved and released so that we can purchase the StepMaster Stepmill form Treadmill Outlet with funds from the State Law Enforcement Trust Funds. We are also requesting that the Office of Management and Budget place the transfer of these funds on the same Commission Agenda as the requested items to eliminate any delays for processing the payment for the purchase.
