Request Action:

Pass an Ordinance to change the City Code to provide that City Commission meetings will commence at 6:00 p.m. instead of 7:00 p.m.

 

Need:

To change the commencement time for City Commission meetings.

 

Summary Explanation/ Background:

Mayor Ken Thurston has requested a change to the City Code of Ordinances to change the start time for City Commission meetings from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.  After considering comments from the public, the Commission approved the new start time of 6:00 p.m.
