Body

Need: A proposed Ordinance of The City Commission of Lauderhill, Florida amending the Land Development Regulations and pertaining to Open Space Parks (PO) zoning districts within the City of Lauderhill.

 

Summary Explanation/ Background: Staff has identified a need to amend provisions pertaining to Open Space Park (PO) zoning district to allow for accessory uses and structures which address the recreational needs of the Lauderhill residents within City Parks zoned Open Space Park (PO). The zoning district currently allows for several accessory uses that include recreational uses and staff has identified a need to provide for the additional accessory use of a fitness center.

Cost Summary/ Fiscal Impact: The Division finds the implementation of this Resolution may not require a budget allocation or expenditure of City funds and concludes it may not have any direct fiscal impact on the City’s budget.
