A RESOLUTION IS REQUESTED FROM THE CITY COMMISSION TO WAIVE COMPETITIVE BIDDING REQUIREMENTS IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 2-144 OF THE CITY'S CODE OF ORDINANCE AND APPROVE THE PURCHASE OF FIRE EQUIPMENT, PARTS, SUPPLIES, AND SERVICE USING THE LAKE COUNTY CONTRACT 17-0606.

ACTION IS NEEDED TO ALLOW THE PURCHASE OF VARIOUS EQUIPMENT FOR DAY-TO-DAY OPERATIONS.

LAKE COUNTY PLACED A SOLICITATION TO ESTABLISH A POOL OF CONTRACTED VENDORS TO COVER THEIR NEEDS FOR VARIOUS GOODS AND SERVICES UTILIZED BY THE PUBLIC SAFETY AND FLEET MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENTS.
