Request Action:
The City Commission is being requested to approve the piggyback on Pasco County, Florida’s agreement with National Metering Services for the installation of automated meter readers not to exceed $1,000,000.
Need Summary Explanation/ Background:
Due to aging infrastructure, the City is advancing a new automated meter system. This system will provide more efficient meter reading, enhanced leak detection, and better overall system monitoring. The new technology is essential for improving operational efficiency and customer service.
