Request Action:

Approve various Change Orders from Ahrens Company relating to actual construction which varied from the original scope of services due to either unforeseen circumstances or requests made by the City of Lauderhill outside of the scope. Total amount of change orders not to exceed $79,904.88.

 

Need:

To approve Change Orders for construction items outside of the original scope of services.

 

Summary Explanation/ Background:

The following change orders are changes in the construction phase that are outside of the original scope of services:

 

Construction Change Order #1 - to cover permit fees $13,844.68

 

Construction Changer Order #2 - for emergency temporary power due to cut in power lines (was not a change order so they rescinded it) (NONE)

 

Construction Change Order #3 - evacuation & removal of concealed demolition debris in the amount of $1,114.00.

 

Construction Change Order #4 -  Option 2 to approve the modified stucco gym wall finish in an amount not to exceed $64,946.20.
