Approval of a resolution authorizing the City of Lauderhill to enter into an agreement with Law Enforcement Psychological and Counseling Associates Inc, utilizing the solicitation issued by Broward Sheriff’s Office (BSO), RLI # 24023VR, for Pre-Employment Psychological Evaluation Services.
Need Summary Explanation/ Background:
The City of Lauderhill requires a firm qualified to provide pre-employment psychological screenings and evaluations of fitness for duty in accordance with Federal and State laws, rules and regulations. The purpose of these screenings and evaluations is to screen-out applicants identified as exhibiting high risk factors for performance of public safety positions and distinguish those who possess traits deemed suitable for the positions and are absent of these high risk factors.
By utilizing the Broward Sheriff’s Office RLI # 24023VR, the City is able to streamline procurement efforts, secure competitive pricing, and ensure full compliance with purchasing regulations.
Cost Summary/ Fiscal Impact:
Payment for services under this agreement will be made by the relevant Division, using the appropriate corresponding general ledger code on an as-needed basis.
