Request Action:

Pass a Resolution requesting the Florida Department of Transportation to develop bike/mobility improvements along the North Fork New River within the South Florida Water Management District Right-of-Way from State Road 7/U.S. 441 to approximately N.W. 31st Avenue and providing that the City will be responsible for the continued maintenance of the improvement.

 

Need:

To request FDOT to do specific bike/mobility improvements and to assume responsibility for continued maintenance.

 

Summary Explanation/ Background:

Pass a Resolution requesting the Florida Department of Transportation to develop bike/mobility improvements along the North Fork New River within the South Florida Water Management District Right-of-Way from State Road 7/U.S. 441 to approximately N.W. 31st Avenue and providing that the City will be responsible for the continued maintenance of the improvements within the City's right of way.
