RESOLUTION NO. 24R-03-55: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LAUDERHILL APPOINTING BARBARA HERMAN BY COMMISSIONER SARAI "RAY" MARTIN TO SERVE AS AN ALTERNATE MEMBER OF THE CODE ENFORCEMENT BOARD FOR THE REMAINDER OF A ONE (1) YEAR TERM EXPIRING NOVEMBER 2024; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Request Action:
Adopt a Resolution to appoint Barbara Herman to serve as an alternate member on the Code Enforcement Board.
Need:
Commissioner Martin does not currently have an alternate appointment on the Code Enforcement Board, with a vacancy for the appointment of an alternate member for a one year term to end November 2024. He has named Barbara Herman as the appointee he would like to select.
Summary Explanation/ Background:
Cynthia Dunlap was previously Commissioner Martin's alternate appointment to the board until she was removed due to lack of attendance at successive board meetings, thus leaving Commissioner Martin with a vacancy for his alternate appointment. Commissioner Martin has selected Barbara Herman to fill this vacancy.
