A RESOLUTION IS REQUESTED FROM THE CITY COMMISSION TO APPROVE THE AWARD OF RFP 2020-001 TO ADVANCED ATHLETICS SURFACES IN THE AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $56,667.00 FOR WESTWIND PARK TENNIS COURT RESURFACING.

ACTION IS NEEDED TO AWARD RFP 2020-001 TO ADVANCED ATHLETIC SURFACES TO PROVIDE RENOVATIONS TO THE TENNIS COURT AT WEST WIND PARK.
Summary Explanation/ Background:
A NEED WAS RECOGNIZED FOR THE CITY TO OBTAIN A CONTRACTOR TO PROVIDE RENOVATIONS TO THE TENNIS COURT AT WEST WIND PARK. THE WORK INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO PRESSURE CLEANING THE COURT, REPAIRING CRACKS ON THE COURT AND FURNISHED AND INSTALLING A 10 X 20 RESIN COATED FIBERGLASS MEMBRANE.
AS DETERMINED BY THE EVALUATION COMMITTEE STAFF RECOMMENDS AWARD BE MADE TO ADVANCED ATHLETIC SURFACES AS THE RESPONSIBLE OFFEROR WHOSE PROPOSAL CONFORMS TO THE SOLICITATION AND HAS BEEN DETERMINED THE MOST ADVANTAGEOUS TO THE CITY.
