Request Action:

A RESOLUTION IS REQUESTED FROM THE CITY COMMISSION TO APPROVE THE SUBRECIPIENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF LAUDERHILL AND THE LAUDERHILL HOUSING AUTHORITY.

Need:

ACTION IS REQUIRED TO OBTAIN COMMISSION APPROVAL OF THE CDBG SUBRECIPIENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND LAUDERHILL HOUSING AUTHORITY.

Summary Explanation/ Background:

THIS AGREEMENT PROVIDES FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF MULTI-UNIT RENOVATIONS FOR TWO RENTAL UNITS OWNED BY LHA IN THE WINDERMERE COMMUNITY. THE UNITS ARE CURRENTLY UNINHABITABLE AND REQUIRE SUBSTANTIAL REPAIR FOR TENT OCCUPANCY.

STAFF RECOMMENDS APPROVAL OF THE MOU FOR FY 2020 CDBG PROGRAM.
