RESOLUTION NO. 20R-06-98: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LAUDERHILL APPOINTING MELISSA DUNN BY MAYOR KEN THURSTON TO SERVE AS A MEMBER OF THE PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE UNEXPIRED TERM OF REV. DR. MELVILLE B. HERRON, WHICH SHALL EXPIRE CONCURRENT WITH THE COMMISSIONER SEAT OR ON NOVEMBER 2022; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE (REQUESTED BY MAYOR KEN THURSTON).

Adopt a Resolution appointing Melissa Dunn to serve on the Lauderhill Planning and Zoning Board by Mayor Ken Thurston, for the remainder of a term that shall expire concurrent with the commissioner seat or on November 2022.

To fill a vacant seat Lauderhill Planning and Zoning Board.
Summary Explanation/ Background:
Previous appointee, Rev. Herron, passed away, leaving the seat vacant. Mayor Ken Thurston wishes to appoint Melissa Dunn to this seat.
