Body

Request Action:

Pass an Ordinance to amend the geographic zone map, which will now consist of seven (7) zones, and to amend the board membership composition accordingly.

Need:

To amend the Community and Budget Advisory Board geographic zone map to now consist of seven (7) zones.

Summary Explanation/ Background:

The boundaries for the zone map were in question and the City Commission decided it was more logical and beneficial to the residents to redraw some of the boundaries, which will now result in a total of seven (7) zones.  The board membership/appointments are being amended accordingly to coincide with the seven (7) zones. There will now be two (2) members appointed by the Commission as a Whole instead of one(1) to maintain the same nine (9) member board and there continue to be two (2) alternate members.
